Since relocating to New York from California, Janice Kinjo has quickly established herself as a talented and creative makeup artist. Janice is regularly called upon by celebrities for magazine features, interviews, music videos, fashion and live shows. Some of these clients include: LL Cool J, Djimon Hounsou, Keyshia Cole, Sean Paul, Bayje, Essence Magazine, XXL, Trace and Jamaque. Her attention to detail draws forth and enhances specific parts of the face. Her work is often described as clean, beautiful and consistent.

Janice was born in Anaheim, California. Her parents are devoted followers of Soka Gakkai International, a Buddhist organization which promotes peace, culture and education for the betterment of the world. Janice was born into the practice and credits this integral part of her life in helping shape and nurture her artistic confidence. In high school, her passion for make-up artistry led her to another major influence in her young artistic life: National Geographic Magazine. The magazine showed "how other cultures defined and depicted beauty. It expanded the idea of what beauty actually was and could be."

Immediately upon graduating high school in 1999, her first professional opportunity came as a make-up assistant for the independent film entitled Snitch'd starring Eva Longoria. Working on the film enabled her to further develop her wide-array of creative talent.

She would later receive a B.S. degree in International Relations from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. While a student, she worked in theatre and on student films. Having become accustomed to the fast-paced world of entertainment and beauty, Janice moved to New York following her 2003 college graduation. She continues to perfect her artistry and strives for success.
